I tend to approach this from the search engine optimization point of view. Which is, I think, not too far from the point of view of someone doing a quick skim over a list of blogs.

From that point of view, title is important: because the blog is easier to find if the first few words of the title contain at least one keyword.

I&#039;m not fanatic about that: &quot;Easy Griller&quot; is the name of one of my blogs, and it&#039;s about grilling. But &quot;griller&quot; is close.

My first website has a name that is poetically appropriate for the topic, but a very poor choice for getting noticed. &quot;Brendan&#039;s Island&quot; gets a very great many hits from people looking for information about the Irish saint. I finally gave in and added a page about him.

That name is a mistake I&#039;ll not make again. 

Thanks for making this series of posts: I&#039;m looking forward to the next.</description>
