Good Blogging Practice Part13

In Good Blogging Practice Part12 our discussion was on Blog Directory submission. Paid Submission is already been covered and now our discussion will be on Free Submission.
As we have told earlier that free submission is for those blogger who don’t want to invest right now, but need some good exposure. In my experience Free Submission is much better option for beginner.
Why?
When Espreson was not established, I used to run a blog named 2brother. And this was my first hosted wordpress blog. You wouldn’t believe, within 8′month it ranked 4 in Google’s PageRank. And the amazing thing is, I haven’t paid any money to achieve that rank. What I did, submitted it to free web directories and did some optimization.

Again, my motive is not to degrade Paid Submission. Paid submission gives faster result than Free submission.

By the way, lets browse over some collected Free Submission sites. Here is the list,

  • Blog Catalog (Blog Catalog is the premiere blog directory on the internet. Whether you’re looking to promote your own blog or find blogs on various topics)
  • Top Blog area
  • Blog Top Sites
  • Dmoz (Dmoz is Open Directory Project. It is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors)
  • BlogFlux
  • OutPost Earth (Outpost-Earth is a dynamic blog directory, with whizbang features to get your blog noticed and read)
  • Budu
  • iBlogBusiness (Business blog directory)
  • BlogSiteZone
  • BlogTopList
  • Photarium
  • My Feedz (To submit your feed to myFeedz, register for free, enter tags or select categories. Once done, then go to Personalize Feeds and enter the address of multiple feeds)
  • Monster RSS and Blog Directory List

Note: To submit the blog in blog-directories, you need to submit it at appropriate category on that particular directory. For that, find the category as Blog or Weblogs ( most of the time you will get this category under Internet/ computer) and then add your blog on that category or in sub-category.

So, got a good list na! This is not over. If you need more reader then there are lots of other optimization left.
Next our discussion will be on Social Bookmarking, which is one of the most robust way of getting huge list of readers.
Be in touch…get you soon…
