Recently I got one mail from Lunarpages Web Hosting’s Business Development section about the Lunarpages WordPress Theme Design Contest!

So, it’s a big news for WordPress Theme designer if they drilled into the details of this contest. Lets first discuss the prizes, then we will go to requirements for participation into this contest.

1. First Prize: $1,000 cash and 5 years free hosting on Lunarpages Basic Plan
2. Second Prize: 3 years free hosting + $300 cash
3. Third Prize: 1 year free hosting + $100 cash

Sounds great!

So, how to get into this contest. There are some simple steps,

• First of all, all you need to have your own designed WordPress Theme
• Secondly, at Lunarpages WordPress Theme Design Contest! post, you will find a submission form, so submit details and upload your theme on that form.

That’s all.

Now, you got entry into this contest. This contest is already started on December 10th, 2007 and contest entries will close on January 22, 2008.

This contest will be based on voting polls and that will be on Lunarpages blog, Lunartics. This voting polls will be weekly basis and continue for 6 weeks, starting from 10th December to 20th January. So, from those voting polls, top voted 6 themes will be choosen and an additional 6 themes will be choosen by Lunarpages staff for inclusion in the final 12.

Now, another new poll of final 12 will run from 23rd January to February 13th, and The winners will be announced on February 24th 2008. So, get more details on the terms and conditions of this contest.
